Nën udhëheqjen e artistes Rienke Enghardt nga organizata Hope Box – Amsterdam, në hapësirat e 7Arte u organizua dialogu artistik për problemet mjedisore që kërcënojnë vendin si dhe gjithë globin.
Të rinjtë shprehën shqetësimet e tyre në lidhje me çështjet mjedisore, me çrast u ngritën çështje të ndryshme si dhe u dhanë ide të ndryshme kreative se si t’i përcojnë këto çështje në forma më kreative dhe përmes artit vizuel.
Mimoza Istrefi, fasilitatore e takimit para të pranishmëve shtroi çështjet mjedisore që e kërcënojnë Kosovën dhe qytetin e Mitrovicës, duke filluar nga prania e lartë e dioksid karbonit nga shfrytëzimi i thëngjillit për prodhimin e energjisë elektrike. Në anën tjetër në qytetin e Mitrovicës, ka probleme si deponia e mbeturinave në Gërmovë të Koshtovës dhe niveli i lartë i plumbit në ajr si rezultat i mbetjeve industriale.
Lirika Raça (ambientaliste) trajtoj çështjen e ndotjes së ajrit në nivel të Kosovës, si dhe përdorimin e tepërt të plastikës gjatë nevojave ditore gjë që do mund të reduktohej nëse rritet niveli i vetëdijes në mesin e qytetarëve dhe institucioneve relevante si dhe vet bizneseve.
Të rinjtë zhvilluan ide të ndryshme kreative të cilat do të implementohen gjatë kësaj jave, si dhe muajve tjerë në vijim.
Ky aktivitet ka gjetur mbështetjen nga Ambasada e Holandës në Prishtinë, si dhe implemetohet nga organizata HopeBox në bashkëpunim me 7Arte.
The discussion for Mother Nature begins
Under the guidance of artist Rienke Enghardt from the Hope Box – Amsterdam organization, an art dialog was organized at 7Arte space for environmental issues that threaten the country as well as the whole globe.
The youngsters expressed their concerns about environmental issues, with various issues being raised and different creative ideas emerged about how to deal with these issues in more creative ways and through visual art.
Mimoza Istrefi, a facilitator of the meeting, raised environmental issues that threaten Kosovo and the city of Mitrovica, beginning with the high presence of carbon dioxide from the use of coal for the electricity production. On the other hand, in the city of Mitrovica, there are problems like waste landfill at Gërmovë in Koshtova and high levels of lead in the air as a result of industrial wastes.
Lirika Raça (environmentalist) handled the issue of air pollution in the level of Kosovo, as well as excessive use of plastic during daily needs, which could be reduced if the level of awareness among citizens, relevant institutions and businesses is increased.
The youngsters developed various creative ideas that will be implemented this week as well as the next following months.
This activity has been supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Pristina and is implemented by the HopeBox organization in cooperation with 7Arte.
